Why there is no one-price-fits-all rate
A short backyard event, a construction rental with weekly service, and a two-stall trailer require different equipment and work. Your delivery address, setup access, rental dates and service frequency determine the total. Call for a current, itemized quote for your site.
Compare the same package.
If you are comparing suppliers, give each one the same address, delivery date, pickup requirements, number of units, and service frequency. A low unit rate can exclude delivery or removal. A bundled quote can be simpler, but still ask what is excluded.
A simple comparison worksheet
For an event, add the quoted equipment charge, delivery, pickup, planned extra service, and applicable taxes. For an ongoing project, add the first-period total, each expected renewal period, and the final removal charge. Only include numbers confirmed in your written quote.
Does early weekend delivery cost extra?
Ask whether delivery before event day is included in the event rate. Confirm both the arrival and collection dates, especially around holidays or restricted venue access.
Does a short construction rental cost less?
A three-week job can still use a full 28-day rental period. Ask about the minimum charge and any proration policy. Request pickup in time to avoid an unwanted renewal under your order terms.
